Serv-A-Pure 73127S, BBFS-222SIRP, Sediment/Iron/Phosphate
You are buying a 3 step whole house water filtration system that will remove sediment, iron, and add phosphate to your water. Adding phosphate eliminates the need for a water softener with water is 15 grains/gallon or less. This system comes standard with a DGD-5005-20 sediment filter, an AF-20-2215-BB iron filter, and an AF-20-3314-BB phosphate filter.
Pressure Gauge Locations
• Pressure Gauge #1 - Located at the inlet of the first filter housing. Measures incoming pressure to system.
• Pressure Gauge #2 - Located at the inlet of the 2nd housing. Measures pressure drop across 1st sediment filter.
• Pressure Gauge #3 - Located at the inlet of the 3rd housing. Measures pressure drop across 2nd filter.
• Pressure Gauge #4 - Located at the outlet of the 3rd housing. Measures pressure drop across the 3rd filter
It is recommended that your sediment filter be the first filter to come into contact with the water to help remove sediment that will cause premature plugging of the lead reduction filter. The higher micron filter rating should come into contact with the water first then the lower micron filter rating.
