USF NR-30 MEG is a 1:1 chemical equivalent of USF NR-24 and NR-12. USF-24 is a strong acid cation exchange resin that is manufactured from polystyrene and is cross-linked with divinylbenzene. NR-24 resin is a gel cation with an amber to dark bead appearance mixed with USF NR-12, a strong base Type I porous gel anion resin consisting of a styrene divinylbenzene matrix with an amber color. NR-24 and MR-2 are produced using selected starting resins meetinf US Filter Specifications and are processed to have low TOC leachables for use in the semiconductor market. The resins are checked kinetically produce 18+ megohm resistivity and good bead strength and provide excellent mixed bed separation.
