Pentek 255496, ECP50-20BB Pleated Cellulose-Polyester, 4.5'' x 20'', 50 Micron

The Pentek ECP50-20BB is a 50 micron big blue pleated cellulose-polyester, 4.5" x 20" filter cartridge. This unique blend of materials helps the ECP series provide high flow rates and dirt-holding capacity, while maintaining extremely low pressure drops. However, having cellulose in the materials of constructions means this filter should only be used in chlorinated water supplies and should not be used on well water supplies without a chemical injection system.

All ECP series cartridges contain more media surface area that most competitive cartridges. 

- Standard 10-Inch Cartridge: 6 ft2

- Standard 20-Inch Cartridge: 12 ft2

- 10-Inch BB Cartridge: 18 ft2

- 20-Inch BB Cartridge: 36 ft2

The ECP series cartridges endcaps feature a color-coding system for easy identification of micron rating:

- Tan: 1-Micron

- White: 5-Micron

- Blue: 20-Micron

- Yellow: 50-Micron
