Aquafine Color Guard UV lamps are specially manufactured with ceramic lamp bases. The ceramic material offers advantages over non-ceramic material such as greater high-voltage electrical insulation, superior strength and rigidity, improved temperature tolerance, and resistance to UV degradation.
