Serv-A-Pure RODI-Complete, Reverse Osmosis and Deionized Water System
The Serv-A-Pure RODI-Complete reverse osmosis and deionized water system is a complete, all-in-one water purification package. Included with this system is a pre phosphate filter to help extend the life span of the RO membrane, your choice of size of RO system, 330 gallon storage tank and distribution pump, deionized water tanks, optional UV system and equipment to measure the final resistivity of the water. This system incorporates all the benefits and simplicity of deionization (DI) along with a reverse osmosis (RO) system to give a greater life span and more reliability.
Serv-A-Pure RODI-Complete System Components:
- (1) phosphate filter (water softener can be purchased separately and may be needed depending on feed water chemistry)
- (1) RO System, Nelsen with options of 1600 GPD, 3200 GPD, or 6400 GPD
- Pre Phosphate Filter - Sending hard water to RO membranes can greatly shorten the life span of the RO membrane and cause them to prematurely plug up. If the feed water hardness is too high, a phosphate filter will not work and a water softener would be recommended to install instead.
- Reverse Osmosis (RO) System - The RO system will remove anywhere from 90-99% of all contaminants from the feed water source. Remove these contaminants will greatly extend the life of the deionization tanks downstream from the system. Each RO system is rated in how many gallons per day it can produce. This rating is based off of a feed water temperature of 77°F. The colder the water, the less water the RO system will make so make sure to take that into consideration when sizing the equipment
- Storage tank/distribution pump - RO system's make water slowly, so adding a storage tank after the RO will allow you to dispense at a higher flow rate than the RO system can produce. The 330 gallon storage tank included on this system also comes with the level controls to make the RO system run automatically and also the distribution pump needed to dispense to RO water through the DI system and to the final process location.
- Deionization System - The DI tanks included with this system will remove 99.99% of all contaminants from the water. Feeding this DI system with RO water will greatly increase the lifespan of the DI tanks and bring the overall cost per gallon down considerably. Ensure to size your DI tanks properly for the flow rate you want to dispense at.
- Option UV Light - Installing a UV light after the DI system will ensure bacteria free water will be dispensed to your final application.
- Resistivity Lights/Digital Resistivity Meter- The system comes standard with visual red/green resistivity lights on the DI tanks. When water is flowing and the purity is above the set point, the lights will be green. With water flowing and the lights lit up red, the purity is too low and the resin inside the DI tanks need to be changed. There is an option to get a digital resistivity meter. This digital meter will allow you to see the actual resistivity level of the water at all times.
